Hi, hello! I’m Jade Gehringer (she/they), the maker behind Made After Midnight. I am a multi-disciplinary artist from Boulder, CO.

As a wee one, you could find me at artisan markets across the country, helming my parents’ jewelry booth and learning the trade. So you could say I was always destined to be a maker.

After graduating from CU Boulder with a degree in linguistics (which I totally use), I ventured to NYC and worked for five years in the floral industry, creating custom designs for The Plaza Hotel and events around the city.

Back home in Boulder, I dove headfirst into floristry, wedding design, silversmithing, woodworking, and whatever else anyone would let me try. I found my way to quilting through a close family friend who had Parkinson’s and was a lifelong quilter. Continuing her legacy is deeply special for me.

Along with making quilted things, I create floral arrangements and other visuals for weddings (including a disco-ball chuppah and my iconic Carrie-at-the-prom blood arch). In my free time, you might find me thrifting, cooking an elaborate meal, or watching Drag Race.
